Columbia Slough Watershed Council is celebrating 24 years as a 501(c)3 nonprofit! Join Urban Forestry at this community celebration to promote our Tree planting programs and the importance of trees in healthy wetland ecosystem.
Volunteers will join alongside planting program staff to share information about our free opt-in planting programs like our Trees for Residential Streets program (which is currently open for registration) and the Yard Tree Giveaway that occurs every fall! Share your love of trees with folks curious about getting free trees! We'll provide a short training on our programs and informational materials you can use to get people excited about trees.
Each shift lasts 2.5 hours, so you'll have plenty of time before/after your shift to enjoy the celebration.
