Argay Park Volunteer Days

Description

Help us tend to one of the lovely garden beds at Argay Park!

This patch of pollinator-friendly plants surrounds the park sign and welcomes you into the space.

Join PP&R and your neighbors for a family-friendly volunteer hour to help weed, prune, mulch, and occasionally add new plants to the garden bed.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about gardening, with the option to connect with your neighbors and community or spend a bit of quiet time with nature. This is a low-barrier, go at your own pace event. Plant care activities may vary monthly. Open to all skills and abilities, no experience is required to participate.

Site Accessibility

This garden bed is not directly accessible from a paved pathway and requires moving across a mostly even grassy area. There is mixed shade and open skies throughout the park, and the garden bed may have direct sun exposure depending on the time of year and time of day.

There is no restroom at this park. Depending on the season, there may be a portable restroom onsite.
