We are seeking one volunteer to support the second shift at our Steel Bridge Skate Park Community Gathering - 1:45 - 3:30pm.
Arrival & Orientation:
Please arrive at 1:45pm to meet with the event point person and receive a brief
orientation. You will then relieve the previous volunteer and support the
remainder of the event.
Volunteer Duties Include:
- Greeting and welcoming attendees
- Admitting guests to the event and directing them to the 6th floor
- Opening the east or west doors for attendees if the security guard is unavailable
- Providing general wayfinding and assistance
- Supporting light event take-down after the gathering
This role may require periods of sitting and standing.
A security guard will generally be present to admit attendees; however, volunteers may assist with door access as needed. Overall, you’ll serve as a friendly, helpful presence as guests arrive and as the event wraps up.

We're excited to announce the first Steel Bridge Skatepark Project in Old Town Community Gathering! Drop by to give feedback on three design options and learn more about this project. There will be music, a raffle, a walking tour, free refreshments, and partner organizations tabling at the event.
