Help us keep Burlingame Park a thriving community space!
Join Portland Parks & Recreation for a family-friendly, monthly volunteer day to help with gardening and land care activities throughout the park. Regular activities include weeding, pruning, mulching, and plant installation.
Projects and activities may vary monthly, and no experience is required to participate.
Pre-registration is preferred to help us plan accordingly. Please register ahead of time by selecting “respond” for an individual and “respond as team” to register more than one person. If you are not comfortable creating a login to register or have any difficulty registering, please contact kayla.miles@portlandoregon.gov.
- Tools, gloves, and project instructions will be provided.
- PP&R employees will greet you on site.
- Meet near the park slides.

The work locations within the park change for each volunteer day, please contact the Developed Park Coordinator with questions about an upcoming event and project description.

What to expect
- There is a water fountain on site.
- There are portable restrooms in the park, however, they might not be available to use during the volunteer event. There are no alterative restrooms in the park.
