Portland Parks & Recreation Youth Volleyball LeaguePortland Parks & Recreation offers a recreational volleyball league each fall and spring for youth in 3rd through 12th grades. Established teams and individual players are invited to register for PP&R's youth volleyball program, which provides players an opportunity to learn and practice fundamentals, develop teamwork, and participate in match play in a recreational environment. Players in 3rd grade through high school are eligible to participate, and all skill levels are welcome. Each season lasts six weeks. Practices are once a week, and games are played on Saturdays. Spring 2026 Registration is Open March 9 – April 10Team registration for the spring 2026 co-ed volleyball season opens March 9 and closes April 10. Practices begin April 1, and games begin Saturday, April 11, and continue through May 9. Practice for Independent Players are Wednesday evenings, and the younger grades (3rd through 6th grades) meet from 6:00pm to 7:10pm, and the older grades (7th grade through high school) meet from 7:20pm to 8:30pm. Practice is held at Beverly Cleary School, which is located at 1915 NE 33rd Avenue in Portland. A weekly game schedule is posted on this webpage each Thursday afternoon beginning April 9. May assist in course prep, start/finish line set up, water station set up and monitoring, and/or assigned to a spot on the run course to help guide and support participants.
